April 16th, 2012 Update:
I have recieved the Collin County Association of Realtors endorsement of my campaign for Wylie City Council, Place 2.
My letter of thanks to CCAR:
"Some of my most fond memories are of my time as a mortgage broker, working with prospective home owners, going to their closings and working with Real Estate professionals. Many of those people are part of the Collin County Association of Realtos and knowing now that I have the privilege of receiving the collective endorsement of 4,000 plus members, many of whom I call friends, is a tremendous honor.
I have lived in Texas for 28 years, the surrounding area for 15 years and the last 10 or so in Collin County. The leaders, citizens and children of Collin County are blessed with communities composed of schools that rival the top in our nation while living in neighborhoods with quality homes, services and opportunities to prosper. My belief is that realtors do not just sell a home, they sell a family their life, their community and the opportunity to be a part of a dream in which each of us can make our house a home, our city a community and ultimately our group of states a country we are all proud of.
